As a recipient of generous scholarship aid, Jeanne Li came to Wesleyan as a first-generation college student. What she found was a supportive community focused on high quality learning. “I received so much care and help at Wesleyan, I wondered if there was something I could do to give back. I decided to name Wesleyan as a beneficiary in my will,” says Jeanne.

“I thought I needed to have ‘XYZ’ amount before I could give back to my campus, or that the way I could give back is to write a giant check, but that’s absolutely not the case,” she says. Through her gift, she can support what’s meaningful to her — including scholarships and student research — and join other planned gifts making an impact.
